Pixel 11 leaks: $100 hike, less RAM, no telephoto

Android Headlines has the Pixel 11 lineup specs and pricing. It lines up with everything else we've heard ahead of the August 12 event.

The base Pixel 11 jumps $100 to start at $899. Storage doubles to 256GB instead of 128GB. That's the trade.

The whole lineup runs the new Tensor G6 and Titan M3 chips. But the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL are getting a RAM cut down to 12GB. Prices climb to $1,099 and $1,299.

The base model is also ditching the telephoto lens. You'll get the main sensor and an ultrawide, but no zoom camera. That's a real loss for people who want to snap a pic of their tía at the family reunion without getting closer.

If the leaks hold, this is a price bump with a hardware cut. You pay more, get more storage, but lose a camera and some RAM. For those of us who already stretch the budget — the 12GB on the Pro models is tight for multitasking, especially with the AI features Google is pushing.

The event is August 12. If you're waiting for a deal, now you know what to expect. The base model at $899 with 256GB might still be the smart buy. The Pros? You're paying more for less RAM. That's not a good deal for most of us.

Why this matters for us: when the price goes up and the hardware goes down, it's the same people — the ones buying on a budget, the ones who can't just upgrade every year — who feel it first.
