BFTS Cast · Privacy
PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: July 9, 2026
The short version: your screen and audio stream directly from your computer to your Apple TV over your own network. We never store, view, or relay them. There are no accounts, we collect no personal data, and we sell nothing.
No accounts, no data collection
BFTS Cast does not ask you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect, store, or sell personal data, and there is no user profile to build.
Your screen streams peer-to-peer
When you cast, the video and audio travel directly from your computer to your Apple TV over your local network, using a peer-to-peer connection.
This content is never stored, viewed, or relayed through Brown Forces servers. We never see what is on your screen.
What the signaling service handles
To pair your computer with your Apple TV, a lightweight signaling service helps the two devices find each other and open a direct connection.
It processes connection metadata — such as IP addresses and the five-letter pairing code — transiently in memory, solely to establish the connection. This metadata is not written to disk or retained after the session. The service also applies rate limiting to prevent abuse.
No analytics or tracking
The BFTS Cast tvOS app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not profile you or your usage.
Children
BFTS Cast is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
