Open the app on Apple TV
Launch BFTS Cast on your Apple TV. It shows a five-letter pairing code right on the screen.
Open the site in Chrome
On the computer you want to share, open cast.brownforces.io in Chrome. Nothing to download, nothing to install.
Enter the code and share
Type the five-letter code, choose the screen or window to share, and it appears on your TV — sub-second latency, system audio included.

The video streams directly from your computer to your Apple TV over your home network. Our service only performs the connection handshake — the pixels and the audio never pass through Brown Forces.

Safari and Firefox work for video only — no system audio.

Does it work without internet?
You need internet for the initial handshake that pairs your computer with your Apple TV. Once connected, the screen streams directly across your local network.
Is there a subscription?
No. BFTS Cast is a one-time purchase for home casting — buy it once, use it as long as you like.
Why Chrome?
Chrome and Edge can capture system audio along with your screen. Safari and Firefox can share the video, but not the system audio.
Does it work with AirPlay?
It replaces the need for AirPlay on non-Apple computers — Windows, Linux, and Chromebook get the same simple casting to Apple TV that Apple devices already have.
