The bottleneck keeps biting — strike action again

Strike action is back. Workers are shutting down the parts of the supply chain that hold everything else hostage. When the bottleneck breaks, the whole line stops. It's not a one-time disruption — it's structural.

The lesson is simple: don't put all your eggs in one choke point. If one supplier goes down, the rest of the operation needs to keep running. That means diversification, redundancy, and knowing where your actual bottlenecks are.

Why this matters for us: our communities depend on reliable supply chains, and when the bottleneck breaks, it's la gente who feel it first at the shelf and in the paycheck.
