TCL's 85-inch Mini LED is huge, customizable, and pricy

TCL's RM9L is an 85-inch TV that uses RGB Mini LED backlighting. It's one of the biggest screens on the market right now.

The panel is highly customizable. You can tweak settings to get the picture looking the way you want. That kind of control is rare at this size.

But there's a catch. The price is jaw-dropping. This thing costs a lot. You're paying a premium for the size and the tech. If you're on a tight budget, this isn't the move.

John Brandon reviewed it at Wired. His take: it's a lot of screen for the money, but the money part is the hard sell.

Why this matters for us:
When tech gets this big and expensive, it stays out of reach for most of la comunidad — and the people who can afford it get the best entertainment while the rest of us keep watching on busted phones.
