Samsung is making its first over-ear headphones since 2015

Code in the Galaxy Wearable app points to a new pair of over-ear headphones, dubbed the Galaxy H1. They could arrive in 2015, which was the last time Samsung shipped over-ears — the Level On — before it bought Harman and a bunch of audio brands.

The app shows the usual connection icons for over-ear Bluetooth headphones. The sketch isn't the final look, but it's a real design in the works.

Why this matters for us: if they ship in 2027 they'll sit alongside Apple's AirPods Max and Sony's big cans, giving the community another solid pair to buy without paying for the Apple tax.
