Obsidian AI: the brain that stays in the room

IEPs, medical records, legal discovery — they can't leave the building. HIPAA, FERPA, CJIS. The rules are clear. The staff still needs AI for drafting, summarization, translation, and lookup.

Most "private AI" still phones home. A network trace catches it. A compliance officer sighs. The fully-local stacks are a research project, not a product — you're the beta tester.

Obsidian AI is the appliance. GPU, model, agent runtime, voice, a hardened admin console, all dropped on the org's own network. No outbound calls. The data and the brain never leave the room.

It runs the same toolbox surface as BFTS Chat — familiar to anyone who's used it. The difference is where the pieces live. The appliance is the product. You unbox it, plug it in, and the rules are respected.

Why this matters for us: the agencies that serve our comunidad — schools, clinics, county legal — are under the same constraints. They can finally use AI without violating the rules that keep their data safe.
