Multiplayer Claude — writing side by side with AI

Anthropic released a multiplayer mode for Claude. Instead of one person chatting with one AI, the new feature lets multiple people edit the same document at the same time while Claude works in the background. It's the kind of thing that sounds simple until you actually try it — and then you notice how much friction you've been carrying around every time you write something with an AI.

The setup is straightforward: Claude starts a document, people join, and everyone can type while the model follows along. No waiting for responses before you can move. It turns what used to be a back-and-forth ping into something closer to a shared workspace. For teams that actually do writing — product copy, research notes, even code — it's a small shift that changes the rhythm of the work.

Why this matters for us: la gente that writes — whether it's copy for the shop, notes for the clinic, or the story for the next piece — gets a tool that works the way collaboration actually feels, not the way a chat interface pretends it does.

It turns back-and-forth ping into something closer to a shared workspace.
