The models keep getting better — the tools don’t, and that stings

The models are getting better every week. The tools people actually use to build with them aren't — they're old, brittle, and full of hacks. That's the mismatch a lot of teams are hitting right now.

The gap matters because the wrong tooling eats up time and confidence. You don't need another framework to wrap another API call; you need a system that actually lets you chain calls, handle retries, and reason about what's happening. The models give you the intelligence. The tooling has to let you use it without fighting it.
