Google CC: an AI agent for the household, not the boardroom

Google is pivoting CC — its AI agent — away from general-purpose chatter and toward the actual mess of family life. The new version is built for shared calendars, emails, and tasks. It can fill out forms, make shopping lists, plan meals, and keep schedules straight. You don't need five different apps to track what's going on. The agent sits between them.

The point is coordination. One family. One shared inbox. One agent doing the small things — the ones that eat up mental bandwidth — instead of waiting for someone to remember and type.

It's the kind of tool la abuela would actually use: she doesn't care about the tech. She cares that the form gets filled and the list gets made.

Why this matters for us: families juggling work, school, and the clinic appointments need less friction and less app sprawl — a single agent that handles the small chores so we can focus on the big ones.
