Dos eclipses en agosto — cómo verlos
August 2026 is bringing two, and they're not the same one. One is solar — the moon passes in front of the sun. The other is lunar — the Earth drops its shadow on the moon. Both happen in the same month.
The solar eclipse goes dark somewhere between the U.S. and Mexico, so most of la comunidad can catch it without a plane. The lunar one is visible all night from anywhere on the night side of the planet — no special equipment, no app, no line. You just look up.
Why this matters for us: August nights are already warm enough to sit outside with the primos; this is a free show that doesn't cost anything and doesn't need anyone to sell you a pass.
