Anthropic gave Claude a major design overhaul

Anthropic shipped a big update to Claude's design system — the visual and interactive pieces that shape how you actually use it. New imports let you pull in components more cleanly, and Claude now handles code round-trips, meaning the model can write code and then read back the results without losing context.

The update also tackles Claude's token-burning problem. Tokens are how Claude counts words and charges for usage; burn too many and the bill gets heavy fast. Anthropic says this fix curbs the waste, so the model is more efficient when it's thinking through longer tasks.

Why this matters for us: When Claude burns fewer tokens, it runs cheaper and faster — and the tools we use to build, ship, and sell start costing less to operate.

Claude is finally learning to read what it writes.
